The New Zealand embassy organized an exhibition that showcased, not only their best food and beverages but also the beautiful travel destinations and educational  in the land of the kiwis. The event happened last May 20-22, 2016 at the Glorietta Activity Center.

“I think the political relationship with our two countries is in excellent shape… In the last five to seven years there has been an enormous increase in people-to-people contact,” Ambassador David Strachan said.

NZ Trade Commissioner for the country, Hernando Banal shares that 15 years ago, not many Filipinos would have known where New Zealand is. When you mention Anchor milk or Anchor butter, they usually connect that to snow-capped mountains, green fields, meadows and the dairy industry to New Zealand. 1000 Smiles Thailand Festival: An Exciting Weekend in Bonifacio High Street


The Tourism Authority of Thailand in the Philippines celebrated Songkran, the most popular festival in Thailand that marks the beginning of the new solar year and the start of the summer season, with an exciting event entitled the 1000 Smiles Thai Festival on April 15 -17, 2016 at the Bonifacio High Street, BGC, Taguig.

Songkran comes from the Sanskrit word saṃkrānti, which means literally "astrological passage", meaning transformation or change. It is usually celebrated by splashing water at family, friends and passers-by. This Thai celebration symbolizes the washing off of all misfortunes in the past year and welcoming the New Year with a fresh new start.

This year's theme paid tribute and celebrated the 450th anniversary of the Galleon Trade that linked Asia with the Western World.
