The 42nd IIEE Annual National Convention

The much awaited for electrical engineers and practitioners returns!

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc.(IIEE) held their 42nd Annual Convention on November 16-19, 2017 at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. 

With the theme "Sustaining Growth Initiatives for Global Excellence", IIEE aims to continue the progressive growth in the electrical industry in the country. 

Thousands of guests including electrical engineering students from different schools spent the time to visit this prestigious expo event. 

Hundreds of exhibitors joined to promote their products and services.

The 65th PSME National Convention

The much awaited 65th PSME National Convention happened last October 19-21, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. The said event is considered to be the biggest national convention organized by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers occupying 3/4 of the ground floor and 2/3 of the 2nd floor of the convention center. 

PSME National Convention concurrently happened with the 7th PHILMACH, which is said to be the biggest industrial equipment and components exhibition in the country. Thousands of delegates attended the event including the four large technical seminar rooms for the mechanical engineers.

Congratulations to PSME for successfully organizing their 65th National Convention this year! Until next year! 

The Mega Lamudi Housing Fair 2017

Lamudi.com.ph, the leading real estate portal in the Philippines, successfully organized their much awaited 3-day Housing Fair event in Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, happened last October 13-15, 2017. This event targets home buyers and property investors gathering under one roof.

Aside from giving the buyers the opportunity to inquire directly to the different real estate, property, and contracting companies, Lamudi.com.ph also conducted helpful seminars to educate and give some tips not only to potential buyers and investors but also to the sellers. Below are the three free seminars happened in this housing fair:

There's also an auction of foreclosure properties, which something the event guests really looked forward to.

The DOTA 2 New Blood Championships 2017

The New Blood Championships has officially launched in the Philippines. 

This tournament serves as a new gate for the aspiring amateur DOTA 2 players to play in the international e-sports scene. The said event happened last October 6-7, 2017 at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Hong Kong-based Purpose Win Entertainment Limited and Malaysian Esports company Fallout Gaming brought this very first DOTA 2 tourney in the country. 

This event's place is set up and fabricated by Swedish Designs.

TNC Pro Team joined the opening of the first international DOTA 2 tournament in the country.

BRZ Gaming finished 1st runner up winning 600 USD.  

Pampanga-based Skyville team prevails as the Grand Champion, bagging 1000 USD and will fly to Jakarta, Indonesia to compete New Blood Championships Global Finals.

The Exciting Real Estate Expo Manila 2017

The Real Estate Expo Manila 2017 successfully happened last August 11-12, at the Function Room 5 in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

Hundreds of guest visitors didn't dare to miss this much-awaited annual real estate expo. The said event is participated by respected companies in the country. This includes real estate and property developers, architecture and design firms, and experts in the real estate industry, as well as reliable real estate product and service providers.

The WOFEX 2017 Experience

The biggest food expo in the country is back! World Food Expo returned last Tuesday (August 2, 2017) for a four-day festive food expo in the Metro, covering both the SMX Convention Center and World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City.

Each venue primarily focuses on two kinds of exhibit visitors - the traders and the general public.

Business to Customer is the setup in WOFEX Marketplace in SMX Convention Center. Visitors can find great wholesale deals and taste for free sample products. Aside from that, there's also the exciting competition at the Philippine Culinary Cup. Moreover, visitors are able to learn new culinary tips and techniques at WOFEX University.

While at World Trade Center Metro Manila is the WOFEX Trade. Here is dedicated for those who are looking for business suppliers or franchising.

The Memorable Rappler's #ThinkPH2017 AlgoRhythm Summit

It's a day full of wisdom about the digital world last July 15 as the Rappler's #ThinkPH2017 summit happened in SMX Convention Center.

A jam packed list of known speakers gave talks about online marketing, social media etiquettes, artificial intelligence, and more. The talk was started by Rappler CEO Maria Ressa.

The event's keynote speaker is Paul Papadimitriou, futurist and marketing innovation expert, discussed“Understanding the 'AlgoRhythm' of humanity and technology".

Filipino pride Apprentice Asia Winner, Jonathan Yabut tackled the beauty of “Creating content that matters and trends”.

Before you enter the exhibit hall, Rappler invites their guests to share their what's on their mind at the customized freedom wall made of tarpaulin.

Cool merchandises like T-Shirts, jacket, tumblers, mugs, and notebooks are for sale. Moreover, Jonathan Yabut's books are found at the Grit 2 Great booth.

A first in the Philippines, Shapecloud shared some examples of 3D design prints at their booth. Have a design you want to get 3D printed? You can upload your design to their website or browse through their online store.

Exhibit guests are able to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while listening to a great talk. Thanks to Starbucks Coffee for bringing a kiosk store inside the summit hall.

One of the popular OPM artists, Barbie Almalbis also joined the #ThinkPH2017 summit. She performed her hits, Torpe, Tabing Ilog, Dahilan, and Firewoman. 

Rising OPM band, Ang Bandang Shirley, performed three of their hits from their latest album - Umaapaw, Siberia, and Favorite.

Filipina TV host and model, Bianca Gonzalez shared some good advice about social media etiquettes.

The International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines is back in the country!
