The much awaited festive food expo in the country - World Food Expo (WOFEX), returns with thousands of exhibitors showcasing their proud line-up of food and beverage products.
This year's WOFEX happened last August 3-6,2016 in the two of the most popular event venues in the Metro - the SMX Convention Center and the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The expo for two venues is focused on two different kinds of buyers. The World Trade Center event is dedicated for traders concentrated for commercial and institutional accounts. While WOFEX Marketplace, which happened in SMX Convention Center, is open to the general public and all the market-ready products on display. As expected, this 4-day big food expo is attended by thousands of expo visitors.
Along with its purpose to connect with the buyers and traders, WOFEX also served as a battleground of the Philippine Culinary Cup, wherein the finest culinary chefs and students from different schools certified by the World Association of Chefs Societies meet. There's also the WOFEX University, wherein the experts in the food and beverage industry did free seminar for those who wants to learn advanced culinary education.

The Korean Tourism Board commissioned Benew Designs to fabricate their two exhibit pavilions.
Blu Coffee Distributors Corporation, an exclusive importer of La Cimbali, the #1 Espresso Machine in Italy, and ESSSE Cafe Italian Espresso Beans, brought the Italian coffee experience with Master Barista Vito Campanelli.

At UCC Coffee, visitors are able to enjoy coffee that is free to taste at their exhibit place, whether it's hot or iced.
We also found some instant coffee brands that will join the market in coming next few months. One example is the Kapeta and Famosa coffee, which has different promising coffee flavors.
Of course, well-known brands, local and international, are also found to this big food expo.
We also spotted Chef Boy Logro, the popular and entertaining chef of the Kapuso network, at Besterm booth.
